Biography
Hannah Silva is a poet, playwright and performer. She has written seven plays for BBC Radio 3 and 4, and won the Tinniswoood Award for best radio drama script with 'Marathon Tales'. She has a poetry collection 'Forms of Protest' published by Penned in the Margins and a sound poetry record 'Talk in a bit' produced by Humankind. Her AHRC-funded PhD in English Literature with the British Library and Stirling University is on 'Black British Poetry in Performance'. She takes up a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship with Queen Mary University in 2020.
