Biography
Sound artist (b. Galway, lives in London). Releases on: Diagonal, Superpang, Ding/n/dents, FLUF, The Tapeworm. My PhD, "Sonic Poetics: Sound, Listening and Polyphony in the Work of Sean Bonney and M. NourbeSe Philip", was supervised by Robert Hampson and Will Montgomery (at Royal Holloway). In 2016 I founded PRAXIS, a series of events devoted to text-sound composition, which I curated at Parasol-unit foundation of contemporary art, and Café Oto Project Space until 2019. I have performed my music at festivals and clubs including Berlin Atonal, Les Urbaines, UH Fest, Dalston Music Festival, Soup (Tokyo), Club Stomp (Osaka), Islington Mill, Cafe Oto, and a water tank in Lewisham. First poetry collection "FOUR PINTS OF GUINNESS FOR TONY CONRAD" (2017, FLUF). "Popular Songs" self-published 2022 (Sonic Poetics). In 2023 I was Halldorophone-Composer-in-Residence at EMS (Sweden). My next vinyl release will be on Diagonal's 10-year anniversary compilation with Autechre, Sote, Jim O'Rourke, Russell Haswell et al.
